About Casual Employment
We offer free advertising of casual and part time employment to organizations with an ABN, householders, students and researchers on the casual employment database.
The database functions as an online notice board that currently enrolled degree students seeking work to support their continuing study login to and then make direct contact with employers.
Jobs that may be advertised include office work, data entry, receptionist, face to face and telephone market research, IT support, web design and development, school and university subjects tutoring, child care, manual work, customer service, retail and hospitality and more.
Employers offering casual and part time work should contact the Casual Employment office directly by email or phone to place their ads. Please note that this is separate to advertising graduate positions on the Careers Centre database via the online form.
Essential online resources for both employers and employees, such as Pay Scale wage rates can be found in the related links sections on these pages.
The casual employment database is updated Monday to Friday throughout the year and can only be accessed by students logging into the site via MyUni.
First time users will need to complete the online student registration form. Students needing personal assistance with casual employment should visit or contact the Casual Employment office, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
Students in academic, financial or personal difficulty should refer to the Services for students website for sources of assistance.
